A nearby region often shortens the path, but it is not the only criterion. If the target service clearly provides region-specific content, prioritize the required region; for ordinary browsing, start nearby and compare other directions. When switching regions, also consider account login patterns. Frequent exit-region changes may trigger the target service’s own security checks; that is a website rule, not evidence that the client connection failed.
A successful connection requires several signals
The client’s “Connected” status is only one signal. Do not import large collections of rules from unknown sources, because rules can override one another and make failures hard to locate. If the client offers rule-hit logs, use them to see where requests go, but remove account and subscription details before sharing logs.
When using AI Tools, Streaming, and remote work platforms, a consistent exit habit is usually easier to manage than frequent switching. Keeping a similar region for the same account can reduce additional checks triggered by changing login locations. When you need to change a content region, sign out of the target service, switch routes, verify the exit, and reopen the service so the old session does not preserve the previous region.
Use different strategies for different devices
Unlimited devices allow Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux to use configurations suited to their roles. Opening the home page does not mean the desired content will play, and brief playback does not prove long-term stability.
