Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This policy explains how 4kVPN handles account data, order information, service operation data and website analytics while providing international routes and network acceleration subscriptions, and how users can manage this information.

Scope and Processing Principles

This policy applies to the 4kVPN marketing website, user panel and subscription services. Data is processed to provide account features, complete orders, maintain route operations, troubleshoot issues and meet necessary obligations. When data is no longer needed for these purposes, the service stops using it and deletes or de-identifies it according to its retention rules.

Registration requires only a username and password; no email address is required. The registration process therefore does not request or collect a registration email. Text, screenshots or other materials that users voluntarily submit through a support ticket are used only to handle that request. Before submitting, users should avoid including personal information unrelated to the issue.

Data Collected and How It Is Used

Data needed to operate an account includes the username, password verification information, subscription status, traffic usage and account settings. This data is used for authentication, displaying available services and synchronizing user preferences. Passwords are not provided as plain text to website analytics or payment channels.

Order records include the selected plan, amount due, payment method, transaction status, refund status and identifiers associated with the order. They are used to confirm entitlements, reconcile payments, investigate unusual orders and process refunds. 4kVPN supports Alipay, WeChat Pay and USDT; the payment options shown in practice are determined by the user panel.

The marketing website may process analytics such as pages visited, referring pages, browser type, device category, language settings and approximate region. This helps assess page availability, identify loading errors and improve content structure. Security logs may also include request times, network addresses, request paths and error codes to identify abuse, troubleshoot issues and protect service entry points.

No Activity Logs or Connection Data

4kVPN follows a no-activity-logs principle. It does not record which websites users visit, retain webpage content, communications, DNS queries or in-app transmission content, or create browsing records that could be used to reconstruct an individual’s network activity.

To establish connections, account for plan traffic and keep the service running, the route system may temporarily process connection status, the selected node, client version, error type and aggregated traffic. This operational data is used to complete the current session, display traffic usage or resolve technical issues, not to record specific destinations.

The service does not retain detailed connection logs long term when they could be used to continuously reconstruct a user’s connection history. Temporary diagnostic records created to address active errors, security incidents or resource abuse are deleted or aggregated once the relevant purpose is complete. Plan traffic records in an account are retained only as needed to provide subscriptions and handle billing.

Cookies and Local Storage

The website may use cookies or browser local storage to save login status, interface language, privacy choices and necessary session identifiers, so the correct state is maintained as users move between pages. These technologies may also distinguish repeat visits and produce aggregated analytics, but they do not change the no-activity-logs principle.

Users can clear related data through their browser settings. After login credentials are cleared, users must log in again. Clearing language or interface preferences restores those options to their defaults. If necessary storage is completely blocked, authentication, order processing or some settings in the user panel may not work properly.

Payment Processing and Third-Party Services

Alipay, WeChat Pay and USDT payments are processed by the relevant payment channel or network. Payment channels handle the account and transaction data required to complete payments under their own rules. 4kVPN generally receives the payment result, order identifier, amount and necessary reconciliation information, but does not directly control how third-party services process data.

Users should review the privacy rules of the relevant channel before paying. The service uses payment-related records only to complete orders, process refunds, handle disputes, manage risks or meet necessary obligations. Except where required to provide the service, instructed by the user or required by law, this information is not used for unrelated purposes.

Data Retention, Deletion and Policy Updates

Account data is retained while the account is active to maintain login and subscription features. Order and refund records are retained for as long as needed for reconciliation, dispute handling and necessary obligations. Analytics, security records and troubleshooting data are retained only while needed to analyze, protect the service or resolve issues, then deleted, aggregated or de-identified. Data in backups is gradually removed as backups are rotated.

Users can log in to the user panel and submit requests to access, correct or delete account data through the support ticket entry. To prevent someone else from acting on the account, account control may need to be verified before processing. After a deletion request is completed, account features and unused subscription entitlements may no longer be accessible. Records that must be retained by law or to resolve an existing transaction dispute are deleted once the relevant basis ends.

This policy may be updated when service processes, technical measures or applicable rules change. The revised text will be published on this page, and the last-updated date at the top will be changed. If a change materially affects how data is processed, 4kVPN will provide an explanation in an appropriate location in the user panel. Before continuing to use the service, users can review the latest version and decide whether to continue.
